Darnel BIO® products look, feel, and perform like conventional plastic products, but they are formulated to biodegrade by at least 85% in less than 48 months in biologically active landfills, according to the ASTM D5511 test method. However, if disposed of incorrectly, they will also biodegrade in terrestrial or marine environments.
